Music and Monet this Friday at Central Presbyterian Church

In the run-up to the the Denver Art Museum’s Monet exhibition, which is coming soon, and coming in a big way, the Denver Art Museum and the Denver Philharmonic are putting on an event this Friday, October 4th at 7:30 p.m. at the Central Presbyterian Church on Sherman Street. Tickets are $25.00 for adults, less for old people, and free for kinderen twelve and under… or under twelve. I’m not sure. It doesn’t matter, they shouldn’t be there.

Debussy fans should be pleased to note that his works will be in heavy rotation on the philharmonic side of this collaborative event.

More info on the Monet exhibition, which has been advertised for probably over a year now, as we get closer. The traveling exhibition sources from some of the best museums in North America and Europe, and Denver made the very short global list of cities which will be hosting this.
